After two decades of fantastic performance, groundbreaking design and unrivaled craftsmanship, the Venta model celebrates its 20th year. Basso is proud to celebrate this specific model’s glorious past and present by introducing a completely new design that is as technically sound as it is beautiful. The new model, is the first model that follows a new design principle for Basso that offers a stronger family feeling and more coherence in terms of design between all models, regardless of their position within the range.
The 20th anniversary Venta model blends head-turning and function-driven design with performance that makes it a more than capable race-ready steed. Sleek lines and minimalist graphics make sure that this frame is perhaps one of the most elegant within its segment. While aesthetics go a long way into defining the beauty of the Venta model it is the craftsmanship that sets this frame apart from its competition. Made by hand, by Basso and with the same extreme attention to quality and detail used to make the most premium frames in the range, the Venta represents a fantastic value proposition. Its beautiful shape and construction meet with advanced features, generally reserved for higher tier offerings, thus making for an even more interesting offer. Internal cable routing and integrated seat post clamp make for a clean aesthetic while the oversized bottom bracket and reinforced head tube junction make for an extremely reactive construction. After two decades of fantastic performance, groundbreaking design and unrivaled craftsmanship, the Venta model celebrates its 20th year. Lapierre Xelius SL 5.0 Disc Size Large
Imagine a bike that has conquered the highest summits, the largest monuments in the world of cycling. We’re talking about Alpe d’Huez, the Lakes of Covadonga, the Giro di Lombardia, etc. So many places where the Xelius has triumphed at the hands of Thibaut Pinot. The Xelius has no restrictions. It’s a climber. It’s also a descendeur. Fast on flat ground. Lively. Comfortable. The perfect equation. Developed for professionals, but available to all cyclists. Technology for everyone.
An iconic model in the Lapierre range, the Xelius SL received glory with Thibaut Pinot on the Tour de France, the Giro and the Vuelta. But although the Xelius SL is capable of winning the greatest races on the planet, it remains a versatile and comfortable bike thanks to its design and unique 3D Tubular concept.
The frame of the Xelius SL is made up of 300 or so UD SL carbon folds and parts which are arranged around a new latex mandrel before going into the mould. This first phase of construction allows for higher manufacturing quality and saves on weight.
With the full Shimano 105 R7000 chainset, the Xelius SL 5.0 DISC offers reliability and versatility. The compact 50×34 chainset, combined with an 11-speed 11-30T cassette, provides for smooth pedalling on flat ground and also allows you to attack the greatest altitudes with at speed.
Product Features:
The Kinder 24 is one of lightest bikes in the world for it’s price point and specification! Less weight helps smaller riders start easier, accelerate faster and handle the bike with more control. Lightweight alloy frame and fork. Driven by Shimano 8 speed rapid-fire gears and cassette. Rolling on lightweight 20/24H wheels and Kenda Small Block Eight tyres. Finished with a compact, lightweight, one piece handlebar and stem and junior specific saddle.
The Kinder MX24 is Forme’s lightweight kids bike offering in a 24″ wheel size.
Weighing in at just 9.34kg the Kinder is light for a bike this size, meaning it’s going to be easy to manoeuvre. This is important as your child is likely to get more adventurous with their cycling at this age, and as they ride further they’re going to have to deal with more steps, kerbs and other obstacles.
The gearing on the Forme Kinder is simple – 8 speeds operated by a Shimano Rapid Fire trigger shifter. The range of gears should be fine for most hills a child of this age is tackling – after all the bike is named after Kinder Scout in the Peak District (close to where Forme Bikes are based).
The Kenda tyres are good all terrain options found on many quality kids bikes in this price range.
